Gradient’s hardened, zero-trust framework, which we recently demoed at HPE Discover 2020, has been selected in the top 20% of Base Security and Defense solutions for the Air Force's 2020 Fusion Base of the Future showcase July 28-30, 2020.
AFWerx is the United States Air Force’s innovation program, catalyzing engagement between industry, academia, research, and the Air Force in order to accelerate problem solving. Their annual flagship conference, AFWerxFusion, brings together Air Force and DoD representatives, startups, small to large enterprises, research labs, and universities. The AFWerx Fusion theme this year is Base of the Future, a top focus area for both the Air Force and the Department of Defense (DoD).
Gradient is presenting our full stack zero-trust platform that supports laptops, mobile, servers, cloud, IoT, access systems, wireless, and more. We’re spotlighting a solution for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) networks using credential-driven authentication. This approach simplifies enrollment and enforces permissions over the life of the device by authenticating based on the real-time fingerprint of device hardware and software (e.g. mobile phone, laptop). We replace existing multi-factor authorization with simpler & more secure silicon-rooted, device-based authentication/authorization. This solution delivers improved, real-time security by supporting BYOD authentication using a cryptographic measurement of hardware and software – and a simplified, single-sign-on (SSO) login experience, supported by standards like FIDO2/WebAuthn, by cross-securing authentication by requiring physical device (mobile/laptop/workstation/etc.).
